Come help us restore critical desert tortoise habitat! You can participate on either of the days we have available. We will begin with a "tortoise talk", plant survey training, and a basic field class to help you identify burrows and other tortoise sign. We will focus on monitoring their habitat for invasive and native plant species, learn how to collect data, and also clean up trash near their homes! This is a great event for all experience levels, students, and those who want to make a positive impact for the desert tortoise. Register for one, or both days below using Eventbrite.
